At Factif I started in an existing e-commerce codebase. At gwbo I worked across process modelling, the data model, Laravel API, Nuxt interface and deployment. Since 2023 I have continued independently through product software, libraries and systems research.

Product software, library design and systems research
Since 2023 I have continued independently through product software, library design and systems research. Dekzer is an Electron, Vue, Rust and SQLite desktop product. scheme-tokens focuses on typed token graphs and CSS output. SeqWire and Projection Runtime investigate two different systems boundaries: coherent state in shared memory and recoverable communication between Electron and Rust.
These are not client projects. Each project has its own codebase, purpose and development stage.
During my twenty-week internship, I started Yoot Portaal as a configurable project workflow built around project templates, workflow steps and document review. A classmate contributed to part of the initial phase. I then handled most of the continued development and the first production release. From February 2021 to March 2023, I stayed on in a paid part-time role, guided junior developers on scoped parts of the product and handed the application over to my successor.
I translated designs into responsive pages within an existing e-commerce codebase using HTML, SCSS, Foundation, JavaScript and PHP templates. After my internship I handled my own tickets for homepage, navigation and checkout work, testing across browsers and screen sizes.
Hospitality, retail, production and an IT internship
Roles at La Bamba, Jumbo, Tytane and Saturn Petcare, plus an IT internship doing technical refurbishment work at Polygon. This period preceded my move into software development in 2017.
